My name is Rana. I’m a forty-something nonprofit executive in Denver, Colorado. I love to travel. I love to try new things. I love my husband, my friends, my family and my dogs. I even love my job, but I’m in a rut, and it’s time for me to really LIVE for a LIVING.
For 20 years I have lived to serve others through my work, and I know that I will continue to give back to my community whether I am getting paid for it or not. In fact, I know that when I return from sabbatical I will be ready to take my career to the next level.
But right now it’s time to re-focus, re-orient my perspective on what it means to really live a life of meaning, a life free of fear, a life of freedom. So I’m starting my next big adventure, leaving my amazing job, and taking a year-long sabbatical with my husband to wander, explore, travel and connect.
